Canine Country Academy Family Fun Day to Support Jail Dogs Program
When: Saturday, Nov. 17 from 12-5 p.m.
Where: Canine Country Academy – 975 Cripple Creek Dr., Lawrenceville, GA
Conveniently located off Buford Drive just past Swanson Drive
You and your family are invited to a fun event to support the Operation Second Chance – Jail Dog program at the Canine Country Academy facility in Lawrenceville. This event is geared towards fun, education and supporting a great organization by providing needed supplies.
The Operation Second Chance – Jail Dog program rescues homeless dogs from the Gwinnett Animal Shelter and pairs them with inmates who train them in basic manners and tricks to become more adoptable. This program also gives the inmates new skills in dog training and handling, as well as learning to care for someone other than themselves and the knowledge that they have made a positive difference in a dog’s life.
At CCA’s Canine Family Fun Day there will be:
Doggie craft projects
Dog/Child Safety presentation
Face Painting
and Trick Dog demos (featuring adoptable Jail dogs).
