Several Dacula residents recently graduated from Mercer University located in Macon, Ga. Mercer President William D. Underwood conferred degrees to the following:

Abigail Howd of Dacula, Ga., earned a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from the College of Liberal Arts.

Kevin Roberts of Dacula, Ga., earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering summa cum laude from the School of Engineering.

Octaviana Strimbu of Dacula, Ga., earned a Bachelor of Science from the College of Liberal Arts.

U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss delivered the commencement address.
