Documentary Examines National Obesity Epidemic
According to a health department press release, 68 percent of adults age 20 and older in the United States are overweight or obese. In children and adolescents ages 2 to 19, the rate is 31.7 percent.

The Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale County Health Departments are working to make the public aware of a four-part documentary that examines facts and myths about obesity.
The documentary, “The Weight of the Nation,” is available online.
