Friends Sports Grill hosted an Easter charity event for Reece McPhail that has so far raised almost $20,000. 

The event was named Ansley's Easter after Ansley Arnette. Ansley had a rare brain cancer and was the beneficiary of last year's fundraiser. She passed away the Wednesday before Thanksgiving last year. 

This year's event was to benefit Reece McPhail, an 8-year-old diagnosed with leukemia.The attendance was fantastic -- probably at least 500 people or more.  Plus, the event featured live music by David Leon and Got 2, two Easter egg hunts for kids, a live auction, a silent auction and a raffle. 

The Mayor of Dacula, Jimmy Wilbanks, and the Gwinnett County District 3 commission candidate Mike Korom were also present and supported the event.
