Brenda Tanner Lowrey, age 69 of Dacula, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 at home.

Mrs. Lowrey retired from Gwinnett County Public Schools Grounds Department. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Dacula.

Mrs. Lowrey was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lillian Bailey Tanner and one brother, Bob Tanner. She is survived by her husband of 50 plus years, Burch Lowrey, sons, Todd and Andrew Lowrey; two grandchildren, Levi and Stephanie Lowrey, all of Dacula; Lindsey and Josh Gravitt of Auburn; and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Lowrey is also survived by sisters, Billie Chadwick, Sue and Jerald Williams, both of Dacula; Betsy Henderson of Loganville; brothers, Benny and Sue Tanner of Lawrenceville; Branson and Wilma Tanner of Dawsonville; and brother-in-law and sister -in-law, Vick and Ruth Lowrey, as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m, Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Sam Davis will officiate. Interment will be at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Dacula.
