The Gwinnett 4-H Horse Club competed in the State Horse Quiz Bowl contest on Saturday, Jan. 26. The Junior Team Green ( elementary and middle school age) was undefeated and won first place out of 33 teams. Teams compete in a “Jeopardy” style contest consisting of questions in all areas of equine study.  Pictured are Dacula residents Andrea Gonzalez, Sabrina Sailer, Cassie Scott, Killian Mullen, Sarah Kearns and Kylie Adams.

The Senior Team Green placed second out of 17 high school teams in the contest and earned the right to compete in national competition in the Fall. Pictured are all Dacula residents: Samantha Sailer, Caroline Hinton, Mallory Huff, Nathaniel Hinton, and Mary Cate Marchert.

Senior Team White: Sarah Lawley, Anna Marie Schwed, Amanda Davis, Marissa Martin, and Kaitlyn Metcalf

Junior Team White: Makenna White, Harrison Martin, Adrianna Peevy, Jenna Sauerbier, and Kai Metcalf.
