National Take-Back Initiative for Prescription Drugs
This Saturday, Sept. 29, is the National Take-Back Initiative for prescription drugs. If you have prescription drugs you no longer use, and want to properly dispose of them, several law enforcement offices will be accepting them for proper disposal.
In Gwinnett County, the Gwinnett County Sheriff's department will be accepting them from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There are many prescription drugs that should not be flushed down the toilet or washed down the sink, and this is an opportunity to get them out of your house in a safe manner. Take a look at this link to see where in your area will accept old/unusable prescription drugs.
