On June 8, Gwinnett County will begin mailing out new precinct identification cards.
“Georgia law requires that we issue new cards to notify voters when their political districts have changed, so we will send out cards starting June 8 in preparation for this year’s upcoming elections,” said Lynn Ledford, Elections Supervisor in a released statement.
The cards will include the voter’s polling location and will identify the applicable political districts for the voter’s home address. Voters may also visit the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page for polling locations, registration status, ballot request status and to view sample ballots for the upcoming election.
The primary will be held on Tuesday, July 31. The deadline to register and be eligible to vote is Monday, July 2. For additional details on absentee and advance voting, visit the Gwinnett County Elections Office website.
