Opening of New Gravel Springs Road Lanes Delayed
Roadwork is currently underway to realign the intersection of Dacula Road and Old Peachtree Road to improve visibility and traffic flow.

All lanes of SR 324/Gravel Springs Road will not open Monday after all.
The lane opening, originally scheduled for April 30, has been delayed in order for crews to complete earthwork in the median and along the shoulder of the roadway.
The widening of SR 324 covers a one-mile stretch from Ivy Creek Road to Kirkstone Drive. The $11.2 million project, including a new bridge over I-85, was funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the project is 93 percent finished and on schedule for the targeted completion date of May 31, 2012.
