Voter Registration Deadline Approaching for July Primary
Voters have just a few days left to register to vote in the July 31 general primary and nonpartisan election. The registration deadline is Monday, July 2.
Registration is open to United States citizens who are legal residents of Georgia and of the county in which the resident wishes to vote. Voters must be 18 years of age by election day. Anyone currently serving a sentence due to a felony conviction or judicially determined to be mentally incompetent is not eligible to vote.
Voters may request an absentee ballot by mail. Voters may also vote in person at the Gwinnett County Elections Office, 455 Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville, July 9-27, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, July 21.
In-person voting will also be available July 23-27 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Centerville Community Center in Snellville, George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center in Suwanee, Dacula Park Activity Building in Dacula, and Lucky Shoals Park Community Recreation Center in Norcross.
