Another Smash and Grab Car Break-in Reported at Rabbit Hill

Windows smashed and purses stolen in latest incident.

 

Two Dacula women became victims of a smash and grab car break-in during an Oct. 15 visit to Rabbit Hill Park.

The women arrived at the park around 4:30 p.m. When they returned to their vehicle, they discovered the passenger side window had been smashed. One of the victims had credit cards, debit cards, a driver’s license and Social Security card in her purse along with asthma medication. The second victim said she also had credit cards, debit cards, a driver’s license and Social Security card in her purse.

According to the police report, one of the stolen credit cards was used at a Shell station on Duluth Highway in Lawrenceville before being cancelled.

The case is listed as active.
