Arrest Made in Dallas Armed Robbery Case – Dallas Patch
The Dallas Police Department on Wednesday announced it had arrested a 19-year-old Dallas man in connection with the Oct. 21 robbery of Lucky’s Food Store on Hardee St.
Det. A.D. Herd with Dallas Police said Wade Batson of Dallas was arrested Wednesday afternoon and is facing an armed robbery charge. Herd said the arrest came after authorities received a tip to the suspect’s identity following the release of security camera footage from the robbery.
Arrests Made in Walton County Armed Robbery – Loganville Patch
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office has made two arrests following an armed robbery last week that resulted in one man being sent to the hospital.
According to a press release, Adam J. Hacker and Scottie D. Propst, both of North Carolina, have been jailed and are facing a host of charges.
WCSO deputies responded to a Virginia Way address in Walton County at about 10 p.m. Oct. 20. On arrival, deputies found a 44-year-old white male suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center and is currently listed in stable condition.
Several Winder Businesses Burglarized – Barrow Patch
Four Winder businesses were burglarized in the past week.
The burglaries occurred at Corner Bookstore, Trinity Salon and Spa, VIP Nails Club and Luxury Nails between Oct. 19 and Oct. 22. In each incident, the burglar appeared to have forced the front door locks of the businesses to make entry.
The incidents remain under investigation.
