Brutal Attack, Anonymous Robo-Call and Guns Galore
A look at a few of the most notable stories this week on Dacula Patch.
Witnesses See Man Dragging Ex-Wife by Hair
This was a horrific story. The victim suffered numerous injuries but it could have been far worse had it not been for alert neighbors and an off-duty deputy that put his own safety at risk to help this woman. Please remember to keep an eye out for your friends and neighbors. You never know when they may desperately need your help.
Beaudreau Responds to Anonymous Robo-Call Attack
I guess it should come as no surprise that the mud-slinging is well underway in the race for District 3. I don’t know who was behind the anonymous call attacking incumbent Mike Beaudreau, but their identity is sure to come out sooner or later. Frankly, if you are convinced that what you say is the truth, why not put your name out there with your message? It was a cowardly thing to do in my humble opinion.
As always, it is nice to see a new business come to the area. We have been without a gun shop for a number of years and I sincerely wish Mr. Duncan the best in his efforts to bring self- and home-defense merchandise to Dacula.
This week, congressional candidate David Hancock shared his reasons for opposing TSPLOST. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to educate yourself about TSPLOST and make an informed decision on July 31.
Advance Voting Underway in Gwinnett
Once you have finished your TSPLOST and candidate research, you can head to the Gwinnett County Elections office if you don’t want to wait until the end of the month. Advance voting is currently underway, satellite voting starts the week after next and then all precincts will be open on election day. Personally, I like to go on election day. For some reason, it just seems more exciting to do it that way.

I have already welcomed Big Gun Armory into our area with a purchase. Please go in and say hello. This is small business at its best!
