Dacula Memorial Day Celebration Includes Parade, Festival and 1K/5K
Head to downtown Dacula Monday morning for a day-long celebration that includes the dedication ceremony for the new Dacula park.
The City of Dacula will begin its Memorial Day festivities Monday morning at 8 a.m. with a 1-mile fun run followed by a 5K race through downtown Dacula.
Once the race concludes, spectators will line Dacula Road for the 19th annual Dacula Memorial Day parade. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and will travel down Dacula Road toward the park, turn right on Second Avenue and end at Dacula High School.
After the parade, the City of Dacula will dedicate the new downtown park. The dedication ceremony for Olde Mill Park at Historic Downtown Dacula is scheduled to begin at noon or at the conclusion of the parade if the parade runs past noon.
The Memorial Day celebration also include an arts, crafts and music festival. The festival begins downtown at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.
