A sixth grade student is facing a charge of terroristic threats and acts after a Dec. 3 incident at Dacula Middle School.
According to Jorge Quintana, Director of Media Relations for Gwinnett County Public Schools, the sixth grader allegedly made a threatening statement to another student as they were walking toward the bus lanes after school.
"Dacula Middle administrators immediately looked into the case and were in touch with parents as well as the school resource officer," Quintana wrote in an email to Dacula Patch.
GCPS did not disclose any further details regarding the incident.
In addition to the criminal charge, the student is also facing school disciplinary measures.
