Veterans, marching bands, beauty queens, antique cars, politicians and more constituted some of the 150 or so entries in this year's Dacula Memorial day parade.

The parade, now in its 19th year, is held in honor of the men and women of our United States armed services. This year's parade theme was “Their Sacrifice, Our Gratitude.” United States Navy veteran Bill Tiller served as the 2012 grand marshal.

Parade founder Marvin Atherton emceed the parade from Fire Station 16.
