Why Go: Saturday’s races will determine which cars represent Dacula’s Pack 530 at the district competition. Concessions will be available. Proceeds benefit Pack 530.
What: Winemaker Wanna Be
Where: Chateau Elan, 100 Rue Charlemagne Dr, Braselton
When: Saturday, Jan. 29
Why Go: Participants will be treated to a private tour of the winery, an overnight stay at Chateau Elan, a custom wine bottle and more.
Pricing: $259 per couple
Where: Gwinnett County Fairgrounds, 2405 Sugarloaf Pkwy, Lawrenceville (Main Exhibit Hall)
When: Saturday, Jan. 29 and Sunday, Jan. 30
Why Go: With a name like Repticon, how could it not be cool? This show promises fun for reptile enthusiasts and the whole family.

Where: Trophy Club of Apalachee, 1008 Dacula Road, Dacula
When: Sunday, Jan. 30 from 1-4 p.m.
Why Go: Golfing in January might not normally be that much fun, but with highs forecast near 60 on Sunday, this event looks like a winner. Prizes will be awarded to golfers finishing in 1st or 2nd place and there will be special awards for longest drive and closest to the pin on select holes.
