Local Woman Criticized for Dressing Daughter as Prostitute in Pageant
A Winder woman dressed her 3-year-old daughter as Julia Robert's character from "Pretty Woman."
Paisley, a 3-year-old Winder girl who dressed like Julia Roberts' character in the movie "Pretty Woman" for a pageant, is making headlines -- and the costume is stirring up controversy.
The pageant contestant was recently featured on the reality TV show "Toddlers and Tiaras," which follows crown-seeking children and the parents who make dreams of becoming beauty pageant royalty possible.
According to a Fox 5 news report, the little girl's mother, Winder resident Wendy Dickey, is defending her choice of costume, but said the criticism has been nasty and constant for the past couple days.
