Mild Temperatures, High Pollen Count Today

Allergy sufferers facing high levels of tree pollens.

Unseasonably mild temperatures have resulted in high pollen levels.

The Atlanta Allergy and Asthma Clinic lists today’s pollen count as 261, which is in the high range. Pollen counts between 90-1,499 fall into this range. Friday's pollen count was also in the high range at 92.

The primary pollen sources today are alder, birch, cedar and elm trees. Grass pollens levels are listed as low and weed pollens as not present.

Mild temperatures are expected to continue this week with highs in the 50s and 60s for the next several days according to the Daculaweather.com forecast. Today's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high of 53. Tomorrow will be sunny and warmer with a high in the low 60s.
