Yesterday was not a lucky day for Mega Millions players in Georgia. No local players matched all five numbers plus the Mega Ball. The winning numbers in last night's drawing were 4, 8, 15, 25, 47 and the Mega Ball number was 42.

Two players, one from Idaho and one from Washington, purchased winning tickets and will split the jackpot which has an estimated worth of $355 million.

The jackpot was increased from $330 million Tuesday afternoon due to strong ticket sales.

Though no Georgians won the big prize, five lucky players won $250,000 by matching all five white balls. In total, 67 players nationwide ended the day a quarter of a million dollars wealthier.

Another 323 Mega Millions players won $10,000 by matching four white balls plus the Mega Ball.

Mega Millions is played in 41 states plus the District of Columbia. Yesterday's $355 million jackpot was the second largest in Mega Millions history.
