Sheldon Honored by Disability Advocacy Group

Dacula representative recognized for legislative leadership.

State Rep. Donna Sheldon (R-Dacula) was honored by the Georgia Council On Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) during a July 21 awards banquet.

Sheldon was recognized for her work on H.B. 226, the individual development accounts legislation, and for her work on H.B. 277, the Transportation Investment Act.

GCDD Deputy Director Patricia Nobbie touted the transportation bill as a way to “give citizens the opportunity to vote on the transportation needs of their area to support them as they go to school, to work, and have an active life in the community.”
