What Name Would You Choose for Dacula's New Park?
City leaders need a name for the new downtown park. What are your suggestions?
Construction on Dacula's new downtown park will be complete in just a few weeks, but the park is missing an important feature -- a name.
City leaders have not decided what to name the park or what method they will use to choose a name. They do, however, plan to have a name chosen prior to the park dedication ceremony which is expected to coincide with the city's Memorial Day celebrations.
What name would you give to the city's downtown park? How should the park name be chosen? Tell us in the comments.

I like the sound of patriot. It could also be Patriot Plaza or Patriot Park.

Perhaps you should name it after our current President, that always seems like the patriotic thing to do.

Well Brian, it would also be patriotic to name it after a past president. For example, it could be Ronald Reagan Plaza or perhaps "W" Park.

Now Kristi that's certainly true but Reagan has so many tributes already and Bush has two wars and a financial collapse named after him, I would think the citizens of Dacula would be proud to have a park named after our first African American President and a Nobel Prize winner to boot. If you hurry you might even be the first city in Georgia to bestow such an honor on President Obama.

Can Reagan ever have too many tributes? I think not. We might also be the first Georgia town to have a "W" Park.

You may be on to something. "W" Park would be the perfect spot for down-on-their-luck investment bankers to panhandle for a few loose mortgage derivatives. I'm sold.
