Win Tickets to See the G-Braves

Enter to win a family pack of four tickets to a Gwinnett Braves game at Coolray Field.

Baseball is America’s pastime. And now Dacula Patch is giving you and your family or friends a chance to join us at the ballpark to watch the Gwinnett Braves take on the Charlotte Knights. You could win a family four pack of tickets to the game on Friday, June 1 at 7:05 p.m. at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.

Entering is easy. Just scroll down and comment on this article by Tuesday, May 8 at 6 p.m. telling us why you love baseball or going to ballgames. We’ll randomly choose a winner from the comments.

All nine of the Gwinnett Patches are participating, so visit your neighbor sites and enter on each site. Each Patch will choose a winner, but you can only win one set of tickets.

Now, play ball!

Would love to win tickets. One son is coming home from college and I have one graduating on May 24th from high school. Would love to spend a night with my boys at a G Braves game. Don't get to do much as a family anymore they have lives of their own now, but I think this would be a great way to spend time with Mom since Mother's Day is coming up.

My daughter is graduating from Georgia Southern on May 12th & I am trying to find every way I can to revisit all the fun family past times we have enjoyed while she was growing up. Baseball is definitely high on the list of great family memories for us. I can't imagine a better way to celebrate her accomplishment and to add another great family memory to my life. :o)

We moved from Chicago and would travel an hour and a half a few times per season to go watch the Kane County Cougars. The Gwinnett Braves are just around the corner and really feel like our hometown team to support. We all enjoy the games and routing on our GBraves!

Baseball affords us the opportunity to dream and fulfill dreams. A lot of children dream of getting a baseball glove. Going to a game allows more dreams. The young dream of the future. Adults dream of days past. The players dream of winning.

Easy answer. Cost is excellent. Park is awesome and both kid and family friendly. Tailgating area is perfect for grilling and tossing the baseball with the kids. Thank goodness for baseball in Gwinnett!

I have been an Atlanta Braves fan since 1983 when my friend and I would go to Fulton co stadium and watch them play and consistently through the years. Baseball is one of my favorite sports! Now that I have boys, I want them to have the same excitement that I did and still do about baseball. There is no better way than to do this in my own back yard with the Gwinnett Braves.

We love Gwinnett Braves because minor leagues try harder. There's always good seating, and it's not too big and hectic to walk around the stadium while watching the game. The games are higher scoring, and the traffic isn't bad at all. And you can get Tomahawk beer, which is only sold in Braves stadiums!

Living in Gwinnett is so awesome & we LOVE watching the Gwinnett Braves. As a local Realtor, I believe this is one of the great benefits about living our area!! We are celebrating our daughter's college graduation & we are bringing ALL of the out of town family members to watch the Gwinnett Braves. It is such a great family event for building memories that will be with us forever.

Born and raised in Virginia, I've been watching the Gwinnett Braves, formerly the Richmond Braves, since I was a kid. Conveniently, I moved to Gwinnett and the Richmond Braves did too! Baseball is my favorite sport and Gwinnett is by far my favorite team! I'm grateful I've been able to keep up with the same team for an extensive number of years and would be honored to win tickets to the June 1st game courtesy of the Dacula Patch. Go Gwinnett Braves!!!

Growing up, my dad was an umpire, so i practically lived at the ballpark. Whether i was playing or just watching him call, i was, and still am, starstruck by the game. Dad can't call anymore, but we love to sit and watch games together, and talk about the "glory days" at the park. We havent gotten to go to many games in person, so seeing one together in person is as exciting to me as if i had won the world series!

Gas is still over $3, the floors need mopping, the laundry is two stories high, the clients are calling every hour, and dinner is PB&J... again!
G BRAVES.....take me away!
Close to home, cool breeze of the night air, sounds of children laughing, and the crack of the bat and all is right with the world again!

My 7 yr old son and soon to be 3 yr old son are die hard baseball fans. They both started playing at 2 as soon as they could pick a bat up and they are naturals. My 7 yr old has growth hormone deficiency and looks like he is about 4, but he has the heart of a lion. When he steps on the field to play people are pretty amazed. Because of his size they don't expect so much in a small package. He never gives up and is so caring. His little brother wants to be just like him. Baseball is in their hearts and in their blood. My daughter just fell in love with softball after years of soccer. We all love the Gwinnett Braves games, they are full of family fun things and the kids love being so close to a "real game" I know they dream of playing on the "big" field one day with all of their heros they get to watch right now

Why do I love baseball? Baseball is the “Truest” of all games! It’s a game of skill, trust and teamwork. Like life itself, it's a game of live examples. Each player has to listen to each other, respect each other and trust each other in order to win.
That's why I love baseball and it's also why I enjoy taking my wife and grand kids to the games. I like to see them watching each team all the while learning how to work things out together themselves. My wife and grand kids don't know they are also learning how to work things out together in life but they are.
Baseball teaches us how to have fun and how to laugh. We all learn by watching other people enjoy life. Baseball is a wonderful life lesson.
I love baseball because "We" are always right there n the game with the players.

Baseball is a time-honored tradition where every live pitch, smack of a glove or crack of a bat floods my senses with memories of moments shared alongside loved ones separated now by distance or astral plane. An evening flight over the Heartland, revealing the diamond glow of rural ballfields offers the most assuring comfort that, as Americans, we're still on the right track.
