Woman Calls Police After Neighbor ‘Shot Her the Bird’

Neighbor denies making obscene gesture, said he was simply waving at woman.

An obscene gesture resulted in police being called to mediate a dispute between neighbors.

A Spring Street resident called police on Feb. 23 after a neighbor reportedly “shot her the bird.” The woman told police the neighbor has been upset with her husband and has “attempted to entice her daughters” in the past. According to the woman, her daughter ran to the door when she saw the neighbor driving past the home. When the woman opened the door to let her daughter inside, the neighbor allegedly had his arm up and his middle finger extended.

When questioned by the officer, the man denied making an obscene gesture and said he had been waving at the woman and her daughters.
