Woman’s Vehicle Keyed for Third Time at Same Location

Victim said she does not know of anyone who would be targeting her.

A Lawrenceville woman apparently has an enemy even though she has no idea who it might be.

The woman called police on Jan. 17 after her vehicle was keyed for the third time at Gold’s Gym in Dacula. The first incident occurred in late 2010. The second incident took place on Jan. 3 of this year. At the time of that report, the victim advised that her boyfriend is a trainer at Gold’s Gym. The woman told police she asked her boyfriend if he had any ex-girlfriends that might be jealous of her, but he said he could not think of anyone. The victim said she had not had a confrontation with anyone at the gym or anywhere else and had no idea who might be responsible for the vandalism. Gold’s Gym personnel reviewed surveillance video on that date, but the cameras did not cover the area where the victim’s black 2010 Toyota Camry was parked.

In the most recent incident, the perpetrator keyed the victim’s car on the driver’s side causing a scratch that ran from the front driver’s side quarter panel to the rear driver’s side door. According to the police report, the victim’s car was parked in view of one of Gold’s surveillance cameras; however, the person who operates the security system was not available at the time of the report to review the footage. A copy of the footage was requested.

The case is listed as active.
