I apologize for the site not working this morning. I had a ticket telling me that I had 186,000 connections to my site, which is absolutely absurd, and that I need to take some action.

Of course they didn't give me any guidance as to how to do that, so I had to make several phone calls to try to get it resolved. 

According to them, the problem is probably related to bots accessing my site, although 186,000 connections sounds pretty far fetched. For those that don't know, bots (or robots) surf the internet and scan websites, generally for indexing web pages for search engines. 

I've implemented a new robots.txt fill and hopefully the site will be turned back on shortly.
