An Astronaut's Life: Be a Space Scientist for a Day
2020 Cleanwater Dr, Buford, GA | Get Directions »
$7.50
Don't miss the new traveling exhibit "Living in Space" at the GEHC. This exhibit will allow visitors to be ISS Crewmembers for the day while they engage in astronaut activities. Increase your knowledge about the planets, try to catch a comet's tail and learn about experiments at the International Space Station that help scientists understand the coral reefs. This exhibit offers visitors hands-on, interactive activities for the whole family.
The GEHC will feature the "Living in Space" exhibit through Dec. 3. In addition to the exhibit, the GEHC will be displaying numerous NASA artifacts including a space shuttle tile, shuttle foam, space food and an astronaut space glove. A moon rock collected by Astronaut Dave Scott on the Apollo 15 mission will be featured as well during the months of October and November.
