DESCRIPTION:I wanted to let you know about our &ldquo\;Be a Mench&rdquo\;
  promotion that our eight Atlanta area Menchie&rsquo\;s Frozen Yogurt an
 d two other Menchie&rsquo\;s will be hosting this Friday night. A mench 
 is a good person\, someone who looks out for others and is known for the
 ir kindness. This describes our guests and we would like to reward them 
 for the good they do every day.\n&nbsp\;\nOn May 11th from 6pm &ndash\; 
 close\, when a guest brings in a canned food we will give them &frac12\;
  off an 8oz cup of frozen yogurt to be purchased during this event. It i
 s one 8oz cup of yogurt per can. We will be donating the cans to local f
 ood pantries in the communities in which the stores reside. Ten Menchie&
 rsquo\;s Frozen Yogurt shops in the Atlanta area are involved. Acworth C
 ommons (Acworth)\, Centennial Village (Roswell)\, Cumming Market Place\,
  Hamilton Mill (Dacula)\, Medlock Bridge (Johns Creek)\, Paces Ferry (Bu
 ckhead &ndash\; Atlanta)\, Sandy Plains Centre (Marietta)\, Toco Hills (
 Decatur)\, Towne Lake (Woodstock)\, &nbsp\;Tuxedo Festival (Buckhead &nd
 ash\; Atlanta). &nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nThis promotion is based on a premise w
 e here in Atlanta try to incorporate into our every day. How we can assi
 st those who live in our communities? At Menchie&rsquo\;s we work very h
 ard to avoid any food waste\, it is especially important in a world in w
 hich there is so much hunger. Starving children and adults are not very 
 far away\, they can be your neighbor or the child that sits next to your
 s at school. It is a quiet epidemic but without local food pantries\, ma
 ny children here in Georgia would go to bed hungry. Please help us fill 
 those shelves\, it is an easy way for everyone to be a Mench.\n&nbsp\;\n
 Every day someone asks me where the name Menchie&rsquo\;s comes from. As
  I mentioned earlier\, a Mensch or Mench is good person\, I explain the 
 definition for a good reason\, since not many people know what it means 
 and even some who think they do are wrong. One such person is Adam\, the
  male half of the first Menchie&rsquo\;s Frozen Yogurt\, and it is an in
 tegral part of a fairy tale love story. Legend goes that on their first 
 date\, which ironically enough was in a frozen yogurt shop\, Prince Char
 ming aka Adam started to call his future princess &ldquo\;His Little Men
 chie.&rdquo\; Danna our princess\, was a bit confused but like many girl
 s in love\, waited awhile before asking him why he called her that. You 
 see Danna knew that a Mench &ndash\; was normally considered a good and 
 kind man\, she wondered why her Prince Charming who was so in love with 
 her would give her such an odd pet name. Well as it turns out\, Adam bel
 ieved that a Mench was a &ldquo\;blessing\,&rdquo\; and from the moment\
 , he met Danna he felt his life was blessed. It is a captivating story. 
 Today they have their own little Menchie.\n&nbsp\;\nThank you for your t
