DESCRIPTION:Green Gingerbread Houses - is there such a thing? Who doesn&r
 squo\;t love making adorable Gingerbread Houses with the family or visua
 lly wondering at the intricate works of professional Gingerbread House a
 rchitects? But what if we could make these Gingerbread Houses environmen
 tally-sustainable? Well\, as part of the Gwinnett Environmental &amp\; H
 eritage Center&rsquo\;s December Green Holiday programs\, we will be hos
 ting a Sustainable Gingerbread House Contest and Exhibit. Designers will
  create environmentally-friendly houses out of edible materials that hig
 hlight sustainability and green building design.\nWould you like to ente
 r? At least three sustainable building elements must be included in the 
 design\, such as solar panels\, rain barrels\, green roof\, windmills\, 
 etc. Participants may use a traditional gingerbread recipe\, our recipe 
 for dog biscuits\, bird seed cakes\, or any other edible products. The s
 tructure can include birdseed\, pinecones\, leaves\, twigs&hellip\; anyt
 hing from nature. The Gingerbread House can be creative and imaginative 
 as you like!\nDrop-off for the entries will begin November 24\, judging 
 will take place the week of December 3rd\, and the awards will be presen
 ted during our Green Holiday event on December 15th from 11am-noon. Plea
