This town bleeds Red and Black. As far as games go, it was a great game. It's a great day to be a Georgia Bulldog.
Well, this is the kind of game that I love to see. Sure, we may not have been facing the toughest opponent but it proved we definitely aren't a bad team. Watching the game, I saw a lot of good things. Aaron Murray seemed a lot more down to Earth today, it looked like he didn't have too much trouble making the play when we were relying on him. He went 18/26 for pass completions which puts this game as his highest completion percent all season (69.2%). Our kicking game looked great, Blair Walsh had an AMAZING 56-yard field goal which I do believe is a new personal best for him (His last farthest kick was a 53-yard field goal against Idaho St. last year). We went for a total of 470 yards, 276 of which were from the passing game.
Our defense only allowed CCU 112 yards of which only 49 were passing. Bacarri Rambo had an amazing 43-yard interception that unfortunately ended in a fumble, UGA's only turnover.
As far as games go, it was a great game. It's a great day to be a Georgia Bulldog.
