Hey Facebook friends. I'm needing some help from everyone on here, especially people in the Dacula/Lawrenceville area. Yesterday (2/6/2014) one of our dogs got out of our yard in Dacula and never came home . His name is Bear and he is a 80-90 rottweiler/pitbull mix. Although to some people he may look like a potentially vicious dog, he is the most loveable, lazy, food motivated thing in the world.
We have contacted Gwinnett County animal control and the non-emergency Gwinnett police department just to make sure nothing bad has happened and fortunately there has been no reportings. Last night we spent 3 hours looking for him around HWY316 and HWY29 area along with the HWY316 and Harbins with no luck. We are hoping someone picked him up last night and kept him inside last night since it was below freezing.
He is microchipped and has all his tags on him fortunately so we are crossing our fingers someone will bring him to a vet to read the chip. We are posting up flyers around the area so please anyone in the area keep an eye out for this guy!
If you have any information on Bear please contact

Hi, David. My name is Anne Thompson. I was there at Waffle House the night two of the crew members rescued him from the intersection of 316 and Harbins. We all could tell right away that he was a sweetie. We watered and fed him, and I posted his pic on facebook immediately. I never thought about looking on Dacula Patch. I heard this morning that you guys found him. I couldn't be happier! Give Bear a hug for me!!

Was he in fact found? Yay!! Also, there is a site called Georgia's Missing Pets. Always make sure you look on there and post on there if you're missing a family member!
