Puckett's Mill Third Grader, Nathaniel Augustin Publishes Children's Book

Nathaniel Augustin, the youngest of three boys and an avid reader and writer since he was a very small child, lives in Dacula Georgia with his Mom, Dad, and two brothers Samuel and Jacob. At the age of seven years old he decided to pen his first book, Life of a Second Grader, which was born out of his daily journal. Nathaniel is an exceptionally creative eight year old whose interests include art, writing, researching brain teasers, science, math, computer games especially Minecraft, and making such things as origami. He has a great sense of humor and a belly laugh that makes everyone around him burst into laughter. He is known for his candor and honesty among his family, teachers, and friends. Nathaniel loves to travel with his family and enjoys summer vacations. He loves to celebrate holidays and special occasions and keeps a calendar of birthdays and events. He enjoys the beach and going to the library and the mall, mostly for the kid's play area and River Street Sweets! Nathaniel writes several short stories and journal entries in between his activities and has an amazing imagination. He likes soccer and enjoys supporting his older brothers at their football games. He hopes to be an Art Teacher when he grows up.

Life of a Second Grader is a funny but true story plucked from the snapshots of the diary of a second grade boy named Nathaniel. He began writing this book when he was seven years old and journals some fun events throughout the life of a second grader, himself! It tells humorous tales of being at school and takes you on an adventure on the bus, in the classroom, at home and other places. It will make you laugh as you read and will even remind you of some funny times you had in school too! Life of a Second Grader is not just for six and seven year old boys and girls but for the entire family to enjoy at reading time! The characters come alive with both the words and the illustrations and paints a childhood picture that will remind you of at least one person you know. The author's voice is unmistakably tickling so read on and enjoy!
