The traffic light at the intersection of Jim Moore Road and Braselton Highway in Dacula has been in operation for almost a week now.
District 3 Gwinnett County Commissioner Tommy Hunter said the changes seem to be working out well so far.
"Traffic patterns have not quite settled out as it takes folks a little while to get used to the new operation," he said.
County transportation staff plans to monitor the intersection to determine if a left turn lane is needed from Braselton Highway heading westbound onto Jim Moore Road.
"So far it doesn't appear to be needed," Hunter said.
