Five Things to Do This Weekend: April 29-May 1

Local theater productions, benefit yard sale and a dog festival among this weekend's activities.

  • "HARVEY" -- presented by the HCA Drama Department

The Hebron Christian Academy drama department presents about a man and a 6-foot-3 invisible rabbit. You can enjoy the hilarity beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night in the HCA cafetorium.

  • Mill Creek Hosting One Act Plays

For more theater entertainment, head over to Mill Creek High School for the . Each program includes four 30-minute plays. Shows begin at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday in the Mill Creek High School theater.

  • Stars and Strikes Family Fun Day 2011

Visit Stars and Strikes on Saturday for a featuring children’s activities, the Georgia Force Cheerleaders and discounts on bowling, food and laser tag. Stars and Strikes is also collecting non-perishable food items for a local food pantry.

  • For The Love of Dogs

this Saturday featuring a parade of dogs, children’s activities, dog training and more. Pets will also be available for adoption. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Dacula Church of God Ladies Ministry Yard Sale

Find a great bargain and help the ladies at the Dacula Church of God raise funds for new carpeting for the church’s fellowship hall. .
