Patch Picks: Best Places to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Friends Sports Bar and Grill

will host a three-day Saint Patrick's Day event. On March 17, Friends will have shepherd's pie as well as corned beef and cabbage.  Beer yards will be available for $6 and green beer will also be on sale.  Friends will also offer a – the Shamrocktini (made with sour apple vodka, a splash of triple sec and a splash of sweet and sour mixer). Visitors to Friends will also be able to enjoy live music from Southern Reign and Greedy White Citizens.

On March 18, country group Back East will be playing as will the rock-n-roll band Echoes End. Saturday’s entertainment will include the Nathan Morgan Band and Joe Hall and the Bottom Line Band.

“Everybody is Irish” party will feature green beer, green enchiladas, green burritos, green apple margaritas and live music.

Dos Copas

will be hosting a “St. Patty’s Daze” party featuring “three nights of debauchery” with rock and metal band Riff Raff. Dos Copas will offer green beer specials and contests including most green attire, best Irish accent and best leprechaun outfit.

Fatso’s

Head to for green beer, jello shots and karaoke. Starting at 6 p.m., Fatso’s will hold raffles every half hour for a free Irish dinner and beginning at 9 p.m., you can entertain your friends and neighbors with some karaoke singing.

Rick Tanner’s

Get a plate of corned beef and cabbage, a green beer and sit back and enjoy karaoke at . The restaurant will have party favors too!
