Tournament Group Donates $4,500 to Gwinnett Parks Foundation

The Gwinnett Invitational Tournament, held by Turn 2 Tournaments, was held at Harbins, Rabbit Hill and Rhodes Jordan parks.

The Gwinnett Parks Foundation received a donation of $4,500 raised from the Gwinnett Invitational Tournament held by Turn 2 Tournaments for the Youth Sports Scholarship Fund.

The Gwinnett Invitational, a Grand Slam Qualifier, was hosted at Harbins Park, Rhodes Jordan Park, and Rabbit Hill Park on May 24 and 25. Turn 2 Tournaments is a travel baseball tournament group hosting Grand Slam World Series Qualifiers in the Metro Atlanta.

The Youth Sports Scholarship Fund annually offers financial assistance to families registering for youth athletic programs through a need based qualifying application process.

In 2013, more than $3,200 was awarded to families providing an opportunity for children to participate in youth athletics in Gwinnett County.
