'Beat the Heat' Car Show Scheduled for July 15

Beat the Heat, Inc., a non-profit organization comprised of public safety personnel who use private race cars that simulate emergency vehicles, is hosting a car/bike show and safety expo on Sunday, July 15, at the Gwinnett Arena from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The event will feature a "dunk a cop" tank, K-9 demonstration, cone course, "touch a truck" and a silent auction.

Admission to the event is free. Entry fees for participants in the car and bike show are $20 for cars and $10 for bikes. (See the attached pdf for details).
