Local Singer Jordan Rager to Join the Southern Throwdown Tour in the Fall

Country singer and former "The Voice" contestant Jordan Rager and two other young Nashville Hopefuls to go on tour in the fall.

A year ago, Jordan Rager was just coming off his stint as a contestant on NBC’s show “The Voice” and getting ready to graduate from Loganville High School.

This year, he's getting ready to go on tour. According to his mother, Connie Rager, this tour is just what the budding young musician needs to kickstart his career.

Jordon Rager was well known in the local and surrounding area before his stint on the national stage when he was a contestant on NBC's "The Voice." He graduated from Loganville High School last year and then went on to cut his first CD “Burning Gasoline” with a collection of 12 songs, all written or co-written by Rager. According to his mother, he's still writing music - and not just for himself.

"He goes to Nashville one week out of every month for the purpose of writing. He's writing with some pretty big "hitters" these days," Connie Rager said. "Some of his newer songs can be heard at www.jordanrager.com and will most likely make his next CD. He still lives here in Loganville and he's not in college. He is 100 percent devoting his time to his music career."
