The first day of speeches at this year's DNC included some of the Democratic Party's most promising rising stars including Newark Mayor Cory Booker and San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro. Lily Ledbetter's speech on equal pay and Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick's portrait of his predecessor Mitt Romney's tenure were also crowd favorites.

What is the biggest contrast you see between the two groups? Did Democratic speakers make a good case for President Obama's accomplishments? Are you looking forward to his speech on Thursday?
