Help generate funds for breast cancer research while enjoying chips and salsa at Buffalo's Southwest Cafe.
During the month of October, Buffalo's will donate $1 to the Winship Cancer Institute for every pink chips appetizer sold. Restaurant patrons can enjoy the pink chips with Buffalo's Queso Verde Cheese Dip and Fire Roasted Tomato Salsa.
Last year, Buffalo's raised $40,000 for the Winship Cancer Institute and hopes to increase the grand total for the 3-year campaign to $100,000.
“We at Buffalo’s Cafe are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Winship Cancer Institute," said Buffalo’s COO Shaun Curtis in a released statement. "Community support last year was outstanding, and we look forward to another year of helping the incredible work of the Winship Cancer Institute. Employees and restaurant guests shared their personal stories of struggle with cancer and were happy to involve themselves in raising money and awareness for the cause.”
According to a press release from Buffalo's, one in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime in Georgia alone.
The Winship Cancer Institute is Georgia’s first and only National Cancer Institute designated cancer center. All southeastern Buffalo’s locations are participating in “Fight Takes Flight.”
The Dacula Buffalo’s Café is located at 3450 Braselton Highway.
