The Dacula Chick-fil-A is one of seven locations around metro Atlanta participating in a fundraiser for a 3-year-old girl in her fight against a rare cancer.
The stores are partnering to help defray medical costs for “Imogen,” a Lilburn girl who has been diagnosed with stage 3 ganglioneuroblastoma, which grows in nerve tissue and impacts 5 in 1 million children.
The fundraiser is scheduled 5 p.m.-8 p.m. on Monday, March 17.
The Chick-fil-A’s participating in this event also includes: Lilburn, Loganville, Scenic Hwy, Stone Mountain, Sugarloaf & 316, and Snellville.
According to a press release:
“Imogen’s battle with cancer began March 17, 2013, after countless fevers and an inability to walk that caused her to be hospitalized. After five months of unanswered questions, Imogen was finally diagnosed with ganglioneuroblastoma Stage 3, a very rare form of cancer. Seven Chick-fil-A’s have partnered to host an in-store fundraiser night to help raise funds to offset medical care.”
