Dacula Pharmacy Serving Residents for 20 Years

What Dacula business has been serving our hometown for a little over 20 years?  Here's a hint, it is located in historic downtown Dacula right across from the train tracks.  If you guessed the you would be right.  The pharmacy opened back in 1991 and celebrated its 20 year anniversary on March 24.  Registered pharmacist (RPh) Billy Stone has owned and operated the business since its inception and is still there serving the residents of Dacula today.

I spoke with Mr. Stone about his business and here is what he had to say:

Patch: How does it feel to know your business has such a long history in the Dacula area?

Billy Stone, RPh: It is great! You get to know the people and really become a part of the community.  I have become very active in the Dacula community and I am in charge of the yearly Dacula festival and the Christmas Tree lighting in downtown Dacula as well.

Patch: How have you seen Dacula change over the years?

Billy Stone, RPh: Dacula has gone from being a small town to becoming a big town.  Some of those changes are good and some not so good.  There is definitely more traffic but one thing that hasn't changed is the great people here in Dacula.

Patch: What does the Dacula Pharmacy offer residents that other pharmacies in the area might not offer?

Billy Stone, RPh: Here at the Dacula Pharmacy we provide personal service to our customers.  We truly care about each of our clients and the all the residents of our hometown here in Dacula.

Dacula Pharmacy is located at 2555 Second Avenue North and is open weekdays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.  The pharmacy not only offers typical pharmaceutical services but also compounding services, medicine packaging, a convenient drive-thru window, durable medical equipment and UGA gift items.
