Development Permit Issued for New Dacula Dollar General

The 9,100-square-foot store will be located near the intersection of Harbins and Jones Phillips Road.

Construction of the new Dacula Dollar General store will soon be underway.

A development permit for the Harbins Road store was issued on Oct. 28. The store will be located on a 1.7-acre tract of land near the intersection of Harbins and Jones Phillips Road.

The 9,100-square-foot, four-sided brick store will front Harbins Road. The development will include 32 parking spaces.

In the zoning request letter, the applicant stated the Dollar General “would bring necessary consumer conveniences to the area, allowing local residents to stop by the Dollar General for everyday needs.”

The store will be Dollar General's second in Dacula. The retailer currently operates a store at 1941 Auburn Road.
