The restaurant chain has more than a dozen locations in the metro area including Lawrenceville, Loganville, Suwanee and Duluth.

The Hamilton Mill location will open in approximately four months according to a company spokesperson. The restaurant will be located at 2240 Hamilton Creek Parkway (in the shopping center).

Frontera Mex-Mex Grill offers burritos, tacos, fajitas, enchiladas and other Mexican cuisine. The restaurant also serves a variety of specialty margaritas including cucumber jalapeno, pineapple, spicy mango and lime-habanero flavors.

We don't have enough Mexican options in Dacula the chains feel we need more? Do we get another new nail salon somewhere too? Where's that story? Don't they open at a 1-to-1 ratio? :) (Said purely tongue-in-cheek) I will admit...if you can get beyond the hour+ wait that Frontera does have some decent food.

Scott took away my comments! I was going to say we need another Mexican restaurant like we need more nail salons!

At least there will be a GOOD Mexican Rest. in the area... We have been going to Frontera now for almost 20 years.... We have been driving to Five Forks Trickum and Sugarloaf Pkwy for some time now.... WOOHOO!!!!

Depends what your using for "GOOD". Like BBQ many people have different standards for GOOD Mexican food. If you like the "Mex-Mex" as Frontera promotes then it is decent. I'm more partial to Taqueria Los Hermanos in Tucker for a more traditional flare. Frontera @ Five Forks usually has 60+ minute waits so we'll see how well the new location pulls in the traffic. Maybe it will help others in the area if people aren't wiling to wait so long for a table.
