Home Depot Hiring 70,000 Seasonal Associates

The company is hiring in preparation for the busiest shopping season for home improvements.

Home Depot announced in a news release Thursday the company plans to hire 70,000 seasonal associates in preparation for the busiest shopping season for home improvements. 

In a released statement, executive vice president for Human Resources Tim Crow said, "A seasonal job at The Home Depot can often lead to a regular position if you're passionate about customer service."

The will also usher in the season with door-buster prices on hundreds of the most sought after spring products, including a variety of live goods and lawn care, outdoor power, eco-friendly gardening products, patio and grills, the news release noted.
