New Restaurant Coming to Hamilton Mill Area

A restaurant chain with more than 725 restaurants in 38 states will soon add a Dacula location.

Firehouse Subs is expected to open in The Villages at Hamilton Mill, located at 3465 Braselton Highway in Dacula, in late March or early April of 2014 according to Briant Marsh of The Zimmerman Agency. The restaurant will be located in the same shopping center that houses Five Guys and Shane's Rib Shack.

The "fast casual" restaurant chain was founded by two former firefighters -- brothers Chris Sorenson and Robin Sorenson. The company has donated $8.3 million to public safety organizations as part of their ongoing commitment to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation which provides funding, equipment and educational opportunities to first responders and public safety organizations.
