The East Metro Health District is tasked with ensuring restaurant compliance with applicable health and safety regulations. The following restaurant scores are the most recent scores posted on the East Metro Health District website as of Feb. 19.

Observations and corrective actions:

  • Violation of Code: [.04(4)(c)1(i)-(iii),(v),(viii) ] Raw eggs stored on cart above ready-to-eat produce. Raw fish stored above cooked/ready-to-eat crawfish, crab in the upright freezer. Raw fish, raw shrimp stored above hush puppies, french fries in chest freezer. Raw animal foods moved below/away from cooked/ready-to-eat foods at the time of inspection. Store raw animal foods below/away from cooked/ready-to-eat foods.  Corrected On-Site.  Repeat Violation.
  • Violation of Code: [.04(4)(i) ] Raw fish, raw shrimp, cut tomatoes stored in undrained ice on the prep table, cart. Ice removed from food at the time of inspection. Unpackaged food may not be stored in direct contact with undrained ice.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
  • Violation of Code: [.05(7)(a)2,3 ] Ice buildup on the upright freezer. Grease/buildup on the cookline equipment. Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.  New Violation.

  • Violation of Code: [.03(5)(j)1&2 ] Personal drink in single use cup without a lid or a straw. Drink DISCARDED. Personal drinks must be in single use cups with a lid and a straw.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
  • Violation of Code: [.03(5)(g) ] Employee preparing food wearing bracelet. Had employee remove bracelet. Food service employees may not wear jewelry on the hands or wrist other than a plain ring while preparing food.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
  • Violation of Code: [.04(4)(m) ] No QUAT in sanitizer solution for cloth towels. Changed out sanitizer solution at time of inspection. Must maintain adequate level of QUAT in sanitizer solution for cloth towels.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
