Sweepstakes, Product Sampling Planned for Discount Grocer's Grand Opening Celebration

The ribbon cutting for the new Dacula ALDI will take place at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5.

On Dec. 5, local residents will have a new place to shop for groceries.

The ribbon cutting for the new ALDI, located at 3565 Braselton Highway in Dacula, is set for 8:45 a.m. Thursday morning. The doors officially open at 9 a.m.

The public is invited to attend the opening day ceremonies and enjoy samples of ALDI products. Visitors may also register for the chance to win ALDI gift certificates in an on-site sweepstakes.

“We are pleased to bring a store to Dacula to help customers get high-quality products at everyday low prices,” said Thom Behtz, Jefferson division vice president for ALDI, in a released statement. 

The Dacula store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday. ALDI accepts cash, debit and EBT cards.

ALDI has opened 50 to 80 stores each year over the past several years and now operates more than 1,200 stores in 32 states.
