What is your USP?

Do you have a Unique Selling Proposition? Tell me what it is and you may win a prize.

So let me ask you a question Mr./Mrs. Small Business Owner. What is it that sets you apart from the other restaurants, nail salons, accountants or any other small or medium size business in Dacula? What do you offer that either no one else does or that you do better than the rest of your competition?

If you do not know, then you are probably in for a short career as a entrepreneur. If you cannot tell me in one or two sentences what sets you apart from everyone else, you better have a sit down with yourself and figure it out.

Your companies USP (Unique Selling Proposition) is the most important thing to know in order to grow your business. I know mine and I can tell it to you in less than 30 seconds. It is what sets me apart from my competition. What makes me a valuable resource for my clients. It is what helps grow my business.

Your companies USP states what makes you unique to the customer or client and that this USP helps convince consumers to switch or remain with a certain brand.  The term was invented by Rosser Reeves of Ted Bates & Company. Today the term is used in other fields or just casually to refer to any aspect of an business that differentiates itself from other similar businesses.

So what is your USP? Can you tell me in 30 seconds or less? Email me at Matt@MattHermes.com. The most creative and unique answer wins a prize.
