Over the past couple of years, there have been numerous companies helping small business owners create a online presence and from that create business for themselves.
Personally, I believe the best marketing and opportunity to create business is to be out front of people and meeting with them face to face. Nothing beats personal relationships, but there are other viable options.
Online marketing has many options to review and take advantage of depending on what you can or want to spend on marketing yourself and your business. One of the best resources I have found for my business is Facebook. What I like most about the Facebook marketing I have in place is that there is no cost and the exposure is phenomenal. Twitter, LinkedIn and others are out there for me and you to use -- and I use them both -- but for me Facebook has been my number one resource of new and repeat online business.

Facebook business pages and my personal Facebook page are a 24/7 marketing plan I have put in place to help grow my real estate business and the results have been very good.

Business pages are a great way to show your current and potential clients who you are, what you do and how you compete in the hyper local market you should be focusing on. I have a number of Facebook pages I use, MattHermesandAssociates, HamiltonMillSubdivision and AtlantaHomesGuru. All of them are geared towards a specific group of people and they all have a specific target market for me.
I got hooked up with a great company that set up my Matt Hermes and Associates page that did a awesome job for me. Sprocket Social Media really made this page jump out and has drawn great reviews. I can offer coupons, show homes, provide buyer and seller information. All of this is easy to do and should be done by every small business
Get yourself out there and market yourself. Find something you can do well and let us know about it.
